20/5/25: Glencree CEO Naoimh McNamee and Community & Political Dialogue Manager Pat Hynes were invited to Zagreb this week by the Croatian Foreign Ministry to discuss issues arising after 30 years since the Dayton Accords that ended the Balkan wars. The team also shared Glencree's experience of the Northern Irish peace process and implementation of the Belfast / Good Friday Agreement.
During the discussions, the Glencree delegation met with State Secretay Frano Matušić, together with Croatian Ambassador to Ireland H.E. Davor Vidiš.
Glencree expresses its sincere thanks to Ambassador Vidiš for arranging the visit. It follows a recent discussion on the Dayton Peace Accords which took place in Dublin last month with Croatian Foreign Minister Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman, together with Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Croatian Honorary Consul Gerard J. Danaher SC and Glencree's Pat Hynes.
