Ken joined the Board of Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in 2022. Ken is a financial services professional having been a career banker with Bank of Ireland Group for 40 years during which time he held several very senior leadership positions including Corporate Banking, Marketing and Operations.

In 2006, he took up the post of Credit & Operations Director with Social Finance Foundation, a wholesale funder to the Community & Voluntary and Social Enterprise sectors. He was in that role until 2016. He was also on the Board of Oaklee Housing for 10 years and was Chair for three years up to his retirement in 2021.

He now holds a number of Non-Executive Director positions including Permanent TSB Group where he Chairs the Remuneration Committee and sits on its Nominations, Ethics and Culture Committee. He is also on the Board of the National Shared Services Office and Home Building Finance Ireland where he chairs both companies Audit and Risk Committees. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, where he holds the designation ‘Certified Bank Director’, and a member of the Institute of Directors.
