Paula is highly experienced in Not-for-Profit and Social Enterprise Development, Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to working in Glencree she worked as a Guidance Professional, Advocacy, Community Development and Social Inclusion Specialist with disadvantaged and marginalised communities before moving into a Strategic Partnerships and Development role with Empower the Local Development Company for the Fingal, Dublin Region.

She is Project Management Professional with expertise in interagency projects, sourcing appropriate funding and donor streams and raising the profile of Not-for-Profit organisations and Social Enterprises. She has an expertise in interagency collaboration and has chaired and facilitated various interagency projects and committees to bring about transformative and meaningful change in communities.

Paula’s role in Glencree is to support the development of the organisation and enable it to move towards its strategic vision of becoming a Centre of Excellence for Practical Peace Building and Peace Education. She hopes to do this by establishing and nurturing sustainable and ethical partnerships, initiatives, and revenue streams.

Paula is a social justice advocate and very much believes in Glencree’s vision of a world where human rights are protected; where diversity is cherished; where all can live with dignity and respect in inclusive and equitable societies, free from violence or exclusion; where conflict is transformed peacefully.
