Welcome to the Armoury Café

Our little corner of the world is about heart, hospitality and nourishment, serving wholesome food and reviving beverages. We invite you to relax, have a chat, enjoy yourself and take in the wonder of nature.

Situated just off the Wicklow Way, within the grounds of the Glencree Peace Centre campus, the Armoury Café offers hearty meals and snacks, made from local seasonal ingredients when we can. No visit would be complete without sampling the joy of Gosia’s fresh warm bakes which are a particular favourite amongst our regulars - ardent hill-walkers, backpackers, cyclists, neighbours and friends. Good local knowledge!

Nestled in the Glencree valley, the Armoury offers a place to get away from the noise. Here you can unwind on our terrace, enjoy the seasonal beauty of the landscape, take in the fresh mountain air and connect with people and nature.

We have great respect for our local artisans and like to support them by featuring their unique designs, crafts and locally produced foods in the Armoury. From jams to jewellery, woollen knits to ceramics, each piece is lovingly made, and in many cases handmade, in Ireland.

Come and join us, we look forward to welcoming you!

The Armoury Café is a wheelchair friendly facility.

Car parking at the Armoury Café is for customer use only and is complimentary for parking up to 1.5 hours.
