Online Mediation Practice – Next Session 29 May 2025

Glencree Women's Leadership Programme Online Mediation Practice Sessions for 2025

11/2/25: The Glencree Women’s Leadership Programme is excited to announce a new round of online Mediation Practice sessions in 2025, following a successful pilot year led by Sharon Crooks. These sessions are designed for women peacebuilders who are continuing their mediation training journey and are now eager to enhance their confidence in mediation processes and principles.

Building on the momentum from our recent OSCE Glencree Network Exchange, this initiative aims to foster collective capacity-building and strengthen relationships among women from both the Glencree All-Island Women’s Peacebuilding Network and the OSCE’s Dialogue Academy Alumni Network.

Each practice session will be a two-hour online event, featuring engaging role-play scenarios, facilitated by Sharon Crooks, allowing participants to practice their mediation skills in a supportive environment. Following each role-play exercise, participants will engage in a debrief to discuss their experiences and insights, further enhancing their skills and understanding of mediation dynamics. With a limit of 12 participants per session, this format ensures a personalised experience, allowing for focused learning and meaningful interaction.

The upcoming Mediation Practice sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3-5 PM
  • Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 3-5 PM
  • Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 3-5 PM (revised date)
  • Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 3-5 PM
