Directors Report and Financial Statements 2014/2015

This year we are happy to report a Net Income of €71,765 which is our largest profit since 2009.

This result has been achieved by very tight management of resources and demonstrates how Will, Gerry and the team are committed to ensuring that the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation (GCPR) operates within its limited budget.

As a Board we are concerned to ensure that our Balance Sheet is solvent.  As a result of the strength of our assets, our Balance Sheet is strong but our Current Ratio – that is the difference between our Current Assets and Current Liabilities – is a negative figure.  This is an issue that is of constant concern to the Board.  I am happy to report that this year, this Current Deficit, at €176,552, is at its lowest point since 2010.  As a Board with help from members and friends, we are committed to turning this figure into a positive one in 2016 and beyond.
