Join Our Board and Help Shape the Future of Peacebuilding

The Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation is inviting expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about peacebuilding, dialogue, social justice, and good governance to join our Board of Directors.

As Glencree continues to grow its work across Ireland and internationally, we are seeking committed leaders who can contribute their expertise, strategic insight, and networks to help guide the organisation through its next chapter.

We particularly welcome applications from younger leaders, women from diverse backgrounds, individuals with communications and fundraising expertise, people from Northern Ireland, and others whose lived experience and perspectives will strengthen the diversity, effectiveness, and impact of our Board.

Serving on the Glencree Board offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to one of Ireland’s leading peacebuilding organisations. Board members play a vital role in shaping strategy, strengthening governance, supporting organisational sustainability, and advancing Glencree’s mission to build peaceful, inclusive, and resilient communities.

How to Apply

Applications close on Friday, 18 September.

Applicants are invited to submit:

  • A one-page cover letter outlining their interest in joining the Board and demonstrating their suitability for the role.
  • A current CV.

Please combine your cover letter and CV into a single Word document or PDF and email your application to recruitment@glencree.ie.
