Marking International Day of Peace and in support of our peace and reconciliation work, the 9km peace walk across the Wicklow mountains was one of camaraderie, fun, nature and breath-taking views. Over 70 champions of peace walked together for close to 3 hours before returning to our peace campus for a hearty barbecue, followed by a celebratory cake thoughtfully provided by Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ireland, Adriaan Palm. Our sincere thanks also to the wonderful young quartet who joined us from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and treated us to an afternoon of traditional Irish music as we relaxed together in the grounds of Glencree.
