25/2/25: Glencree Chair James Bridgeman SC, CEO Naoimh McNamee and Community & Political Dialogue Manager Pat Hynes were delighted to welcome Timothy Phillips, international mediator and Director of Beyond Conflict, and Roelf Meyer, former Chief Negotiator in South Africa’s talks to end Apartheid, to Glencree.

Mr Phillips and Mr Meyer are in Ireland to film a new documentary exploring the impact of political violence. Contributing interviews to this important project, the team shared Glencree's decades of experience in peace and reconciliation and learnings from the Irish Peace Process.

The visit also offered a welcome opportunity to reconnect with long-standing friends in the global peacebuilding community.
