Glencree Welcomes Refugees participates in Wicklow Social Inclusion Week

 

3/10/24: As part of Social Inclusion Week in Co Wicklow, the Glencree Welcomes Refugees project team will host Wellness and Relaxation sessions for visitors to Wicklow Municipal District on Monday 14 October. The sessions will be held in Wicklow County Buildings, Wicklow Town from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

The Glencree Welcomes Refugees Wellness and Relaxation sessions are based on Capacitar Multi-cultural Trauma Healing self-care practices. Supported by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate and the Community Foundation Ireland, these sessions have been ongoing for refugees and the professionals who work with and care for refugees throughout Dublin and Wicklow since 2022.

County Wicklow Social Inclusion Week is an initiative of the Wicklow Public Participation Network (PPN) funded by Wicklow County Council.
