Ciarán Ó Cuinn works on international relations and peace processes, primarily in the Middle East. He is Head of Mission at MEDRC, the sole surviving institution of the multilateral track of the Middle East Peace Process. He is founder of Amanathar, a strategy consultancy that advises governments on policy and international relations. As ministerial policy adviser at Ireland’s Departments of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Communications, Energy & Natural Resources, he spent more than a decade working on the various elements of the Irish Peace Process. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin and The School of Oriental & African Studies, London, he holds degrees in History and Public Policy & Management. Ciarán has strong connections to the Glencree valley where many of his family live and have lived for centuries.
