11/11/21: Glencree Intercultural & Refugee and Women’s Leadership Programmes have teamed up to host an online conversation about Section 42, Public Sector Human Rights & Equality Duty. Hosted as part of South Dublin County Council Social Inclusion Festival, the Glencree event will explore how Section 42 can be used as a framework to promote access to equality across all sectors.

Moderated by Bashir Otukoya, Assistant Professor of Advance European Union Law at Dublin City University,  speakers will include Selina Bonnie, South Dublin County Council’s Disability Liaison, Access and Equality Officer, Omolola Adesina who advocates for ethnic minority groups, and Amina Moustafa, Glencree’s Women’s Leadership Programme Manager and board member of Sports Against Racism. As well as a live panel discussion and Question and Answer session, the event will also feature two newly commissioned pieces of poetry by Daniel Kamenyezi and Didier Ngaboyeka.

This online event is open to all with an interest in learning how ethnic and faith minority communities can benefit from this tool.

Following the event, a recording  will be available to view here:
